SPACE FOR US. SPACE FOR OTHERS

In this month’s FMM we looked at personal space. How do we create it? Where is it for each of us? What does it say about us? Are we a perfectionist in our personal space because we can’t handle that we are imperfect inside? Does the clutter in our external life resemble the clutter in our emotional life?

Sergio asked each of us to ask if God walked into our personal space now what would He ask us to risk?

We then looked at creating a personal space for a relationship. How do you create it? What is the perfect space? We ended with these three quotes:

“Closeness is created when you position the others needs a little higher than your own.”

“Intimacy: The awareness one has of oneself in the immediate presence of another person to whom one is closely related and that is profoundly sexual.”

“"Caring maintains a relationship but intimacy grows a relationship”
