Men's Retreat - From Wild Man to Wise Man

Male spirituality affects all of us, whether we are male or female.
We all have fathers, many of us have brothers or sons.
We all relate to men on various levels, and all of us are invested in societies that are largely male dominated.

Our society is dying in many ways due to lack of life-giving role models.

It is our hope that men will not only engage and deepen the experience of their own spirituality, but also be involved in the formation and mentoring of other men.
To this end we are forming a mentoring resource as well as a men’s support network.
As Men, we are a pivotal influence in our family and society in bringing healing and restoration to relationships.
This weekend retreat is for men who have got in touch with their own spirituality and want to deepen it further.

Times and Dates: 4pm Friday 7 May to 4pm Sunday 9 May, 2010.

Cost: R1 500.00
There are a limited number of places.

What to Bring: Your own bedding, eating utensils and toiletries. 
It is cold in the mountains so bring warm clothing as well cool clothing. 
Journal or notebook, Bible and pens.

Transport: Mizpah is about 45 mins from Cape Town. If you are in need of a lift, or can offer a lift to others, please advise on your application.

Directions: Take the N2 out of Cape Town, driving through Somerset West and over Sir Lowrie’s Pass.
Turn right into Eskom Road opposite the informal settlement. Continue to Mizpah.
